Valerie Brauckman Burgess, Founder and President of TelecoWorks, Inc.:
Recruited by Bell Atlantic in the early ‘90’s to manage its groundbreaking Video Dial Tone project in Toms River, NJ, Valerie was General Manager of Sales and Network Operations. She learned the public switched telephone network (PSTN) from the ground up, mastering time division multiplexing, BUS architecture, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and packet switching. Bell Atlantic’s VDT project was the forerunner of Verizon’s FiOS service.
Valerie went on to join Teleport Communications Group (TCG); at the time, the nation’s largest competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC). Once TCG was purchased by AT&T, Valerie was named manager of East Coast Global Business Development specializing in local services for AT&T’s enterprise customers. After leaving AT&T, Valerie managed the indirect sales channel for several CLEC’s. She played an integral role in the introduction of dynamically allocated, integrated voice and data services over a single T-1 circuit.
Starting her own independent telecom consulting business in 2001, Valerie has been helping business and industry improve their voice and data efficiencies for more than 10 years.

Ed Nader possesses 18 years of Telecommunications experience gained working with companies such as Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T. Ed has held positions in Sales, Marketing, Operations as well as Mergers and Acquisitions. He brings a business acumen and a telecommunications skill set that make Ed perfectly suited to help TelecoWorks clients use the latest technology solutions to solve business problems making the Enterprise more profitable and efficient. Ed grew up in South Philadelphia, attended St. Joseph’s Preparatory, holds a degree in Hotel, Restaurant Management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and lives in Chester County with his wife and two children.
